About the Recipe

Low on eggs but want to make some baked oats? Try this decadent egg-less baked oats recipe with no eggs required!

Ingredients

1 cup rolled oats 

1/2 tsp baking powder

1/2 tsp cinnamon

Pinch of salt

2 tbsp sea moss gel

1 ripe banana, mashed

1/2 cup almond milk (or milk of choice)

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp maple syrup or honey (optional, for sweetness)

Preparation

  1. Preheat your oven to 350°F (175°C), grease or line a small baking dish or ramekin.

  2. In a bowl, combined the rolled oats, baking powder, cinnamon, and salt.

  3. Add the mashed banana, sea moss gel, milk, vanilla extract, and maple syrup. Mix until fully combined.

  4. Fold in any optional add-ins like chocolate chips or berries.

  5. Pour the mixture into the prepared baking dish or ramekin.

  6. Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the top is golden and a toothpick inserted in the center comes out clean.


    Serve:

  7. Allow to cool slightly before serving. Enjoy warm or at room temperature.

  8. Top with additional fruit, nut butter, or a drizzle of maple syrup if desired.
